Dr. Richard Hausmann said: “As a global leader in particle acceleration, IBA is a highly respected company in the medtech sector. I look forward to working with the rest of the Board to utilize my experience in the field and support the future growth of the business.”

IBA also announces with great sadness the passing of Eric de Lamotte, last week. Eric was IBA’s CFO for several years, leading up to the IPO of the Company and was instrumental in this process. Eric was also a member of IBA’s Board of Directors and Audit Committee until earlier this year, when he resigned for health reasons. In addition to his passionate support for IBA, Eric was a philanthropist involved in several charitable initiatives, in particular in the Congo, where he had spent time as a young professional. A well-loved figure at IBA, he was known not only for his professionalism but also for his humorous personality and personal rapport with employees. His untimely death is mourned by all of us at IBA and we extend our deepest condolences to his family
