The Discovery Lab is built on two key pillars:
The Incubator and Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) of early-stage entities. This structure combines a startup-like agile environment, supported by the resources and scale of a global company.
Acquiring early-stage entities serves to open access to new markets or customer segments, while simultaneously enhancing IBA’s technological capabilities and competitive edge.
The Incubator drives business growth by offering mentorship and networking opportunities. It also supports the development of ideas, guiding them from concept to a stage mature enough to be considered as future products or services (de-risking).
Submitting ideas to the Discovery Lab
The Discovery Lab invites forward-thinkers, researchers, and innovators to collaborate through its Open Innovation Calls. This initiative, hosted on the IBA Open Innovation Platform, seeks to identify and nurture transformative ideas.
